Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty's birthday is 1 October, in Berkeley, California. She is an actress known for Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into the family of actors as well as filmmakers. Both are careers she herself has taken up. She made her debut at the age of nine years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni (1985). She was the main role in Cristina Comencini's first movie Zoo (1988) and as well as being part of Michele's casting for The Church (1989). In 1989, she played Nanni Moretti's baby in Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (written and directed by Michele Placido) was when Asia's acting career truly took off. The roles she played changed from very young before becoming more mature. The film was well-received at the Cannes International Film Festival. Trauma (1996) and The Stendhal Sydrome are the others she's worked on with her famous father. The Phantom of the Opera is the third film she has acted in together with her father, which includes Trauma & The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's absorbed and intense approach to acting has also been used for the part of Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a Nozze. Patrice Chereau directed Queen Margot and she had the role of the physically challenged girl in that film. In 1995, Asia worked alongside Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion, for which she received a prize from David di Donatello. Asia took up directing as an occupation in the year 1994. Her first short film was Prospettive. The documentary she created about her dad and then Abel/Asia (1998) the film that won a prize at the Rome Film Festival in 1998. They were both directed between 1996 and 1998. Asia debuted as a feature director in Scarlet Diva (2000). In this film, she was also the lead actress and wrote the screenplay. The film was released on May 20, 2000, in Italy and the rest of the world. The film was given a special prize at the Williamsburg Film festival in Brooklyn. Anna Lou, the first of her two daughters was born in the month of January in 2001. In 2002 she starred in The Red Siren by Olivier Megaton with Jean-Marc Barr as well as the action-packed film directed of Rob Cohen, with Vin Diesel. Asia is also the creator of a number of short stories, which have appeared in numerous famous magazines.
